Hydro-X Water Team Reach New Heights for Scottish SPCA!

Sponsored Ben Nevis Hike 2024 Raising £1,116

As a part of our social responsibilities to our local communities on April 25th, 2024, the Hydro-X team completed a sponsored hiking event. The team set out to conquer Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in the UK, all in aid of a fantastic cause: the Scottish SPCA!

The event, organised by the Hydro-X Water Scotland Regional Team, successfully raised £1,116 for the Scottish SPCA, a charity dedicated to protecting animal welfare and preventing cruelty across Scotland.

The team, compromised of team Scotland including David Hudson (Regional Manager), Yvonne Gibson (Account Manager),  Russel Nightingale (Account Manager), Robin McNair (Account Manager) and Emma Mason (Account Manager. Alongside the team were Kevin Morten (Head of Sales), Lorna Desbro (Account Manager), James Burden (Regional Manager North East and Yorkshire) and Tom Wilson (Group Marketing Manager).

Further to this, they were graced with sunny weather on the day, making the experience enjoyable and memorable for all.

The Scottish SPCA are a national charity who work tirelessly to champion animal welfare and educate the public, operating for over 180 years.  The funds raised by the team will support the Scottish SPCA’s crucial work in investigating abuse, rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals across Scotland.

The event concluded with a memorable cheque handover, featuring Robin McNair, Emma Mason, and David Hudson alongside the SPCA team. Hydro-X is thrilled to have supported such a meaningful charity, and look forward to more charitable endeavours in the future!
